The Hiding Place

Corrie and Betsie ten Boom, middle-aged sisters, face a downward spiral after the Nazis arrive in pre-World War II Holland, disrupting their lives as they open their home to Jews. As principled Christians, they attempt to help smuggle people to safety, accumulating extra ration books, which leads to their arrest and imprisonment in the Ravensbrück concentration camp. Corrie's father, Casper, dies before reaching the camp, and Betsie, played by Julie Harris, encourages Corrie to remain hopeful that God will rescue them.
