Taiyô no uta

Kaoru Amane (Yui) has a sickness that prevents her from going out during the day, forcing her to sleep and be active at night. She introduces herself to Koji Fujishiro (Takashi Tsukamoto), a high school boy who is active during the day, and they start a romance despite her condition. As her medical condition worsens, Kaoru is unable to play guitar, but she reassures Koji that she still has her voice. The film follows their relationship and Kaoru's eventual passing, with Koji finding solace in her music.
