Kissing Jessica Stein

Jessica Stein, a Jewish copy editor at a New York City newspaper, is plagued by failed blind dates and decides to answer a personal ad placed by Helen Cooper, an art gallerist who is "lesbian-curious". Jessica meets Helen, and they start dating, with Jessica becoming more confident and carefree. However, their relationship ends after a fight when Helen realizes she needs a partner who satisfies her sexually.
