Ya no estoy aquí

In Monterrey, Mexico, a young street gang, led by Ulises Sampiero (Juan Daniel García Treviño), spends their days dancing to slowed-down cumbia and attending parties. After a mix-up with a local cartel, Ulises is forced to migrate to the U.S. with his friend Jeremy (Jonathan Espinoza). In Queens, Ulises struggles to adapt to his new life, finding work and making connections with a group of day laborers and his grandniece Lin (Angelina Chen), who helps him learn English. As he navigates his new surroundings, Ulises longs to return home, but his past catches up with him, and he must confront the consequences of his choices.
