L'odyssée

The film "L'odyssée" (2016) is a biographical adventure that follows the life of Jacques-Yves Cousteau, a French ocean-going adventurer, biologist, and filmmaker. The film spans roughly thirty years of Cousteau's life, covering his aquatic adventures and innovations, as well as his personal struggles, including his unfaithful ways and strained relationships with his family. Lambert Wilson stars as Cousteau, alongside Pierre Niney as his son Philippe and Audrey Tautou as his wife Simone, who remains on the family's converted WWII minesweeper, the "Calypso", throughout the film's events.
