In 1920s China, a group of former soldiers, including General Chik (Adam Cheng), Ching Ka (Jacky Cheung), and Yung (Max Mok), team up with Wong Wai-mo (Tony Leung Chiu-wai) and others to defend a small village against a ruthless bandit gang, led by Wu Long (Fung Hak-on), in this remake of Seven Samurai. The villagers, desperate for protection, hire the seven warriors to help them defeat the bandits. With the help of the villagers, the warriors successfully defend the village against the bandits.
