Sap nin

The film "Sap nin" (2015) is a Hong Kong speculative fiction anthology film that presents a vision of the semi-autonomous territory in 2025, where human rights and freedoms are gradually diminishing under the influence of the Chinese government. The film consists of five short stories, including "Extras," where a middle-aged triad member and an immigrant attempt to execute a false flag assassination plot, and "Season of the End," where a man tries to preserve his body. The film also explores the struggles of a Cantonese-speaking taxi driver and his family, as well as a young hardline supporter who becomes the first to be convicted under the National Security Law.
