North Shore

Rick Kane (Matt Adler), a young surfer from Arizona, heads to the North Shore of Oʻahu to test his skills against the best surfers. He meets Kiani (Nia Peeples), a local girl who helps him acclimate to the culture, and Chandler (Gregory Harrison), a surfboard shaper who teaches him the spiritual art of soul surfing. As Rick prepares to leave for college, he faces off against Lance Burkhart (Laird Hamilton), a rival surfer who embodies the competitive spirit, in a duel of skills and beliefs that becomes a turning point in Rick's journey.
