Mystery of the Wax Museum

A wheelchair-bound sculptor, Ivan Igor (Lionel Atwill), opens a new wax museum in New York City, but its grand reopening coincides with the disappearance of both people and corpses. Reporter Florence Dempsey (Glenda Farrell) investigates the mystery, which leads her to suspect that the museum's owner, Ivan, may be behind the sinister events. As Florence gets closer to the truth, she discovers that the wax figures in the museum seem to be coming to life, and that Ivan's true identity is far more terrifying than anyone could have imagined.
