Shao Lin si

In the 1982 film "Shaolin si," Jet Li stars as Gong Yuen (Jue Yuan), a young slave worker's son who seeks revenge against the general who killed his father. After learning kung fu at the Shaolin Temple, Jue Yuan joins the monks in a battle against the traitor who murdered his father and the forces of warlord Wang Ren Ze. Along the way, he must navigate his relationships with the temple's supervisors, including the strict but compassionate Master Tan Chuang (Yu Hai) and the fiery Bai Wuxia (Ding Lan), who was once a slave worker herself.
