Jet Li is a Chinese martial artist and actor born on April 26, 1963, in Beijing, China, who has become one of the greatest Chinese film stars and martial artists in cinema history. He won multiple national championships as a wushu athlete before making his acting debut in Shaolin Temple (1982), which followed by critically acclaimed films such as Once Upon A Time In China series. Li's Hollywood career took off with roles in Lethal Weapon 4 and Romeo Must Die, cementing his status as an international film star.
