The New Legend of Shaolin

In 1994, Hong Kong martial artist Jet Li stars as Hung Hei-kwun, a rebel against the Qing government, in this action-adventure film that showcases his kung fu skills. With his infant son and fellow rebel Ma Ling-yee (Ji Chunhua) by his side, Hung Hei-kwun must protect them from forces of evil and corruption as they travel across China. Along the way, they encounter Red Bean (Chingmy Yau), a con artist who becomes an unlikely ally in their quest to vanquish a supernatural man-monster. With spectacular and hilarious fast-motion kung fu sequences, Hung Hei-kwun must call on all his abilities in a battle royale to save the day.
