Danny is used to fighting for his survival as a slave raised by Bart, who thinks of him as a pet and uses him in underground fight clubs. When Danny escapes, he meets a blind, kindhearted piano tuner named Sam who takes him in and helps him learn about the possibilities of a normal life. Danny learns about his past with the help of music and eventually confronts Bart, leading to a violent confrontation that ends with Bart's defeat. In the end, Danny finds peace and closure with Sam and his stepdaughter Victoria, who has become like family to him.
