Lex Barker plays Steve Martin, a New York City private detective hired for protection by wealthy German Wexler, whose butler is murdered, prompting Martin to investigate a photograph of four people marked for death, which sets him on a mission to unravel the identities of the men in the picture before they become targets themselves.
