Letters to Juliet

Sophie Hall (Amanda Seyfried), a young American woman working as a fact checker for The New Yorker, goes on a pre-honeymoon to Verona, Italy with her chef fiancé Victor. While exploring Verona, Sophie discovers an old "letter to Juliet" from Claire Smith, who wrote about seeking love advice 50 years ago. Sophie answers the letter and joins the "Secretaries of Juliet," a group that responds to thousands of letters left in Juliet's courtyard. As they search for Claire's lost love, Lorenzo Bartolini, Sophie and her grumpy grandson Charlie form an unlikely bond, while Sophie begins to realize her own feelings for Charlie.
