The film "Life Happens" (2011) follows Kim (Krysten Ritter), a single mother living with her two roommates, Deena (Kate Bosworth) and Laura (Rachel Bilson), in Los Angeles. As Kim navigates her new life as a mom, she turns to her friends for help and support, including Deena, who tries to be there for both Kim and her own dating life.
