The Dust Factory

Ryan, a traumatized teenager who hasn't spoken aloud since his father's death, falls from a bridge and enters the Dust Factory, a parallel universe where people who are close to death dwell. He meets his Grandpa Randolph, played by Armin Mueller-Stahl, who has Alzheimer's disease and helps Ryan regain his voice. Together with Melanie Lewis, a girl who has lost her memory, they explore the Dust Factory, guided by Grandpa Randolph's stories and hidden parables. As they navigate their way through the fantasy world, they learn to find wisdom, hope, and believe in each other.
