Life of Crime

In late-1970s Detroit, Louis Gara and Ordell Robbie kidnap Mickey Dawson, wife of corrupt real estate developer Frank Dawson, with plans to ransom her for $1 million. As they navigate their scheme, Mickey encounters Marshall Taylor, a married man who does some work for Frank, and rebuffs his adulterous advances. Meanwhile, Frank and his mistress Melanie enjoy themselves in the Bahamas, unaware that Mickey has discovered Frank's true nature. The kidnappers' plan becomes increasingly complicated as Mickey takes charge and Frank's secrets are revealed.
