The Stooge

The Stooge is a 1952 American comedy film that tells the story of Bill Miller, a struggling Broadway performer who uses a stooge, Ted Rogers, to enhance his act. Character actor Richard Erdman plays Ben Bailey, Bill's former partner. After Ted becomes the real star of the show, Bill's girlfriend Mary Turner (Polly Bergen) and his friends advise him to make Ted an equal partner, which he eventually does.
