You and I

You and I is a 2011 drama film about an American teenager, Janie Sawyer, who is forced to live in Moscow with her father's job, and finds an instant connection with Lana Starkova, a fellow fan of the pop band t.A.T.u., on a fansite. Trapped in a small Russian town, they adapt one of Lana's poems into a song that catches the attention of t.A.T.u.'s manager, leading to a series of adventures through Moscow's society. The film stars Shantel VanSanten as Janie and Mischa Barton as Lana.
