Uchû shô e yôkoso

Five elementary school kids rescue an alien dog named Pochi Rickman, who rewards them with a trip to the Moon. After events cause them to become stranded in space, they must find a way to return to Earth before their parents arrive, while also avoiding poachers who injured Pochi. Along the way, they must also thwart the plans of Neppo, the host of the popular entertainment show "The Space Show," who seeks to become a god by harnessing the power of the Pet Star. The children, led by Kōji Harada, use their friendship and skills to defeat Neppo and rescue their alien friend, ultimately saving the universe and returning home just in time.
