Blankman

Darryl Walker (Damon Wayans) is a childlike man with a genius for inventing gadgets out of junk. When he stumbles on a method to make his clothes bulletproof, he decides to use his skills to be the lowest budgeted superhero of all. He creates a superhero alter-ego, Blankman, and inspires the town's citizens, including Kimberly Jonz (Robin Givens), a fellow reporter who falls in love with him. However, Blankman's heroics are met with failure when he tries to save a mayor and fails, leading to the mayor's death. Darryl gives up on crime fighting and tries for a normal life, but eventually finds a way to stop a villain, Michael "The Suit" Minelli, with the help of his brother Kevin (David Alan Grier) and their invention-filled headquarters, the "Blank Station".
