Only When I Laugh

Marsha Mason plays Georgia, a boozy Broadway actress who returns to her Manhattan apartment and her friends after a 12-week rehab stint. She tries to balance her sobriety with the demands of her acting career, raising her estranged teenage daughter Polly, and maintaining her relationships with her needy friends, including Toby (Joan Hackett) and Jimmy (James Coco).
