The Don Is Dead

After his mistress is murdered, a Mafia leader, Don Angelo DiMorra, goes after the killer with bloody vengeance, leading to a gang war. Tony Fargo, the ambitious son of a mafioso, is caught in the middle and learns the business under the wing of Don DiMorra. As a result, Don DiMorra becomes a protector to Tony, but their mentor-student relationship is complicated by Don DiMorra's illicit romance with Tony's fiancée, Ruby Dunne, who later swears vengeance against Tony. The film's violent gang war ensues.
