Exodus

Exodus follows Ari Ben Canaan (Paul Newman), a passionate member of the Jewish paramilitary group Haganah, as he attempts to transport 600 Jewish refugees on a ship named the Exodus from Cyprus to Palestine, facing obstruction from British forces. Kitty Fremont (Eva Marie Saint), a widowed American nurse, becomes involved in the effort and helps facilitate the refugees' passage, while also searching for her missing father and promoting the Zionist cause.
