Genesis: The Creation and the Flood

The film "Genesis: The Creation and the Flood" (1994) is a television adaptation of the Book of Genesis, based on the first book of the Hebrew Bible. The story is told by an old desert shepherd whose grandson is young and curious, and follows the creation of the world, the tale of Adam and Eve, the first crime committed by mankind, and the Great Flood. The narrative is conveyed through the clear and simple words of the old nomad shepherd, who reads from the text of Genesis. Omero Antonutti voices the old narrator/Noah, bringing this ancient story to life.
