The Train

As Allied forces approach Paris in August 1944, German Colonel Franz von Waldheim attempts to take France's greatest paintings to Germany on a train, while the French Resistance tries to stop him from stealing their national treasures. A group of brave men and women stage an elaborate ruse to keep the train from leaving French territory, putting their lives at risk to protect the priceless art. The film's tense standoff culminates in a shocking act of defiance against the Nazi occupation, as one man takes down the ruthless colonel with a single shot.
