The Promotion

Two assistant managers of a corporate grocery store, Doug Stauber (Seann William Scott) and Richard Wehlner (John C. Reilly), vie for a coveted promotion. As they navigate their rivalry, they face personal and professional challenges that strain their marriages and push them to their limits. The competition ultimately comes down to a final interview, where Richard's past substance abuse problem and Doug's newfound confidence are put to the test.
