The Closet follows a father's search for his missing daughter after she vanishes in their new home, and a mysterious man who claims to know the secret behind her disappearance. Sang-won, played by Ha Jung-woo, loses his wife and struggles to reconnect with his daughter, Yi-na. A mysterious exorcist, Kyung-hoon, played by Kim Nam-gil, approaches Sang-won, claiming to have knowledge of Yi-na's whereabouts. As Sang-won searches for his daughter, he uncovers a dark secret about her past and a supernatural entity that has been bringing children to a dark realm, where they believe they are better off than with their parents.
