Highland Park

A high school faculty lotto pool places its fate in the lucky numbers they've played for ten years after hearing budget cuts have eliminated all their jobs. Principal Lloyd Howard (Billy Burke) and his friends, including Ed (Danny Glover) and Shirley Paine (Parker Posey), hope to win big and change their lives. After years of playing the same numbers, the group's luck finally changes, and they begin making big purchases and revitalizing the local economy. But when the mayor, Shirley Paine, tries to take the money for herself, Howard must find a way to stop her and restore hope to the community.
