Always

In "Always", a recently deceased pilot's spirit mentors a newer pilot as he watches his love for his long-time girlfriend evolve into something new. Based on the 1943 romantic drama A Guy Named Joe, this remake follows the same basic plot line with a modern twist, set in a world of aerial firefighting operations. As Pete Sandich struggles to come to terms with his own mortality, he finds himself guiding and watching over Ted Baker, a pilot who bears an uncanny resemblance to him, while also bidding farewell to Dorinda Durston, the woman who was meant to be by his side.
