Paradise Alley marks Sylvester Stallone's directorial debut as a highly under-rated period piece about three Italian-American brothers, living in 1940s Hell's Kitchen, and their sibling rivalry set against the backdrop of professional wrestling. The film features a breath-taking opening sequence and an amazing soundtrack by Bill Conti, with the title track "Too Close to Paradise" sung by Sylvester Stallone.
