The Boat That Rocked

In the swinging 60s, a group of rebellious deejays defy the ban on government-censored music by taking to the seas to broadcast rock and mayhem to millions of adoring fans from their ship anchored in the North Sea. Set in 1966, the film follows the eclectic crew of disc jockeys at fictional pirate radio station "Radio Rock" as they battle against a British government trying to shut them down.
