Pollyanna

Hayley Mills stars as Pollyanna, an 11-year-old orphaned girl who travels to Harrington, Vermont, to live with her wealthy and strict aunt Jane Wyman, who controls the town. Upon arrival, Pollyanna brings positivity and optimism to the gloomy community, making friends including a hypochondriac and a recluse. As Pollyanna's influence grows, she teaches the townspeople about the importance of looking for the good in life, ultimately helping her aunt Polly change her ways and bringing the community together through a carnival fundraiser.
