Kazaam

Shaquille O'Neal stars as Kazaam, a 5,000-year-old genie who appears from a magic boombox to grant Francis Capra as Max, a 12-year-old boy, three wishes. Max initially deals with bullies but finds himself in big trouble after releasing Kazaam, who becomes his genie and demonstrates his powers before disappearing. Kazaam eventually helps Max reunite with his father, Nick Matteo, played by James Acheson, a musical talent agent, and later saves Max's life before disappearing as a djinn.
