Gyakufunsha kazoku

The Crazy Family is a 1984 Japanese film directed by Sōgo Ishii, which satirically explores the pressures of Japanese society, particularly the idea of the "perfect family". The movie follows the Kobayashi family, who seem to have achieved the dream of the typical middle-class Japanese family, but their suburban life unravels as they struggle with paranoia, detachment, and intense expectations.
