Dudley Do-Right

Dudley Do-Right is a 1999 American slapstick comedy film written and directed by Hugh Wilson, starring Brendan Fraser as the titular Royal Canadian Mountie, with supporting roles from Sarah Jessica Parker as Nell Fenwick and Alfred Molina as Snidely Whiplash. The film is a comedy of errors about Dudley, who, after years of keeping the peace in his small mountain town, must confront his old rival Snidely, who has come up with a plan to buy all the property in town and start a phony gold rush. With the help of Prospector Kim J. Darling, played by Eric Idle, Dudley must outsmart Snidely and reclaim his town.
