Fever Pitch

Paul Ashworth (Colin Firth), an English teacher, is an Arsenal fan whose life revolves around the football team. He meets Sarah Hughes (Ruth Gemmell), a new teacher at his school, and they begin a relationship. As Arsenal's fortunes in the football league rise and fall, Paul and Sarah's relationship is influenced by the team's successes and failures. Their romance is put to the test as Sarah becomes pregnant and Paul struggles to balance his football obsession with his responsibilities as a partner and potential father.
