Kenneth "Ken" Campbell Stott is a Scottish stage, television, and film actor born on October 19, 1954, in Edinburgh, Scotland. He has earned recognition for his intense roles in television crime dramas and West End theatre productions, including DI John Rebus in the crime fiction-mystery series Rebus and DCI Red Metcalfe in Messiah. Stott won a Laurence Olivier Award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role for Broken Glass at the Royal National Theatre in 1995.
