Mystery Team

A group of former Encyclopedia Brown-style child-detectives, consisting of "Master of Disguise" Jason Rogers, "Boy Genius" Duncan Wheeler, and the "Strongest Kid in town" Charlie Day, take on a double homicide case when they're hired by a young girl to solve her parents' murder. They follow leads, including a hobo with a connection to the case, a strip club, and a shady businessman, before uncovering a toxic substance used by the killer, Robert Finney, to ruin his company. With the help of Kelly, a girl they meet along the way, and their own bumbling detective skills, the Mystery Team manages to bring the perpetrators to justice and, in the process, learn valuable lessons about growing up and finding their place in the world.
