Yurîka

Eureka is a 2000 Japanese drama film set mainly in rural Kyushu, where the survivors of a tragedy converge and attempt to overcome their damaged selves. Makoto Sawai, played by Koji Yakusho, becomes involved in the lives of two teenage siblings, Naoki and Kozue Tamura, whose brother and sister were survivors of a bus hijacking. As Makoto's relationships with the siblings deteriorate, he becomes embroiled in their lives and eventually takes a job with them, helping them to heal from their traumatic experiences. The film follows their journey as they try to overcome their losses and find a way to face ordinary life again.
