Umi no hanabi

In Yobuko, Southern Japan, brothers Tarobei and Jinkichi struggle to maintain their fishing business, threatened by low catches and corrupt captains, but aided by the new crew led by Tsuyoshi and his brother Wataru. Tarobei's vow against marrying his daughters off for money is tested when a potential investor demands Miwa's hand in marriage. As the story unfolds, Miwa falls in love with Wataru, while Tsuyoshi develops feelings for Mie, Miwa's older sister.
