Shinobi no mono: Iga-yashiki

This film tells the story of Saizo's son, Kirigakure Saisuke, who grows up to be an expert ninja after witnessing his father's death at the Battle of Shimabara. Saisuke must navigate a complex web of family loyalty and deception to save his half-sister, Yuri, who is actually the daughter of the late lord Sanada Yukimura, from the shogun's forces. Characterized by exciting ninja tactics, the film pits Saisuke against the shogun's chief strategist, Matsudaira Izunokami, in a game of cat and mouse.
