Night Must Fall

Wealthy widow Mrs. Bramson hires handyman Danny, played by Robert Montgomery, to work for her, and her niece Olivia, played by Rosalind Russell, becomes suspicious of his motives. As Olivia grows closer to Danny, she begins to notice inconsistencies in his stories and suspects him of being involved in the disappearance of a local woman. Meanwhile, Mrs. Bramson's attorney, Justin Laurie, warns her not to keep large amounts of cash in her possession, which Danny seems to notice but pretends not to.
