Nur eine Frau

Aynur (Almila Bagriacik) is a free-spirited Kurdish woman of Turkish stock who defies her family's expectations, including her brothers Nuri (Rauand Taleb) and Tarik (Aram Arami), who ultimately hatch a gruesome plan to eliminate her. The film, directed by Sherry Hormann, is based on the true story of Hatun "Aynur" Sürducu, a woman who fought for her freedom and independence before being brutally murdered by her brother at a bus stop in 2005.
