Occidental

At the Hotel Occidental, a charged atmosphere unfolds as Diana, the hotel manager, suspects a couple, Antonio and Giorgio, who are Italian and openly gay, of being "criminals." As tensions rise, the hotel becomes a battleground for social and cultural prejudices. Characterized by its striking visuals and sonically evocative atmosphere, the film explores themes of prejudice and societal fear, with Idir Chender and Anna Ivacheff delivering nuanced performances.
