The Harvey Girls

The Harvey Girls follows Susan Bradley (Judy Garland) as she meets a cheerful crew of young women, including Chris Maule (Ray Bolger) and Em (Angela Lansbury), who are traveling to open a "Harvey House" restaurant in Sandrock, New Mexico. There, Susan becomes embroiled in a rivalry with Ned Trent (John Hodiak), the owner of the Alhambra Saloon, and together they must navigate love, friendship, and loyalty as they work to save the Harvey House from closure. Along the way, Susan and Ned develop a romance, and the film features a range of musical numbers, including the Oscar-winning "On the Atchison, Topeka and the Santa Fe."
