Two New Orleans paramedics' lives are ripped apart after encountering a series of horrific deaths linked to a designer drug that warps its users' perception of time, sending them backwards through history. A cancer diagnosis and a desperate search for his missing teenage daughter drive Steve, a womanizing paramedic, to experiment with the mysterious substance. As he journeys through time, Steve must confront his own mortality and reconcile with his troubled partner Dennis, whose world is turned upside down by Steve's increasingly erratic behavior.
