After a former elite agent rescues a 12-year-old Chinese girl who's been abducted, they find themselves in the middle of a standoff between Triads, the Russian Mafia and high-level corrupt New York City politicians and police. Characterized by intense action sequences and a gripping plot, "Safe" follows Luke Wright (Jason Statham), an ex-cop and former cage fighter, as he protects a gifted child being chased by various ruthless groups. With the help of Mei (Catherine Chan) and a team of unlikely allies, including Captain Wolf (Robert John Burke) and Mayor Tremello (Chris Sarandon), Luke must use his skills to take down the corrupt forces threatening Mei's life.
