Robert John Burke is a veteran American actor born on September 12, 1960, in Washington Heights, Manhattan. He gained recognition for his roles in the early films of Hal Hartley and later became well-known for his portrayal of Mickey Gavin on Rescue Me (2004-11) and Bart Bass in Gossip Girl (2007-12). Burke has also had notable roles in TV shows like Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and Person of Interest.
